My Story

Maintaining your physical health is hard. Whether you are sidelined by an injury, life throws you a curveball, or you’re just flat out too busy, it is easy to get off track. Hi, I’m Joe and I’ve been looking for a magic solution for my own wellness goals for as long as I can remember. I’ve tried every trending diet and fitness routine you can possibly think of, usually with great results. But I have still been obsessed by one question “Why is it that so many people fall backwards after accomplishing such a painstaking task?” It’s complicated…

I started to look into how other chronic conditions were treated. I looked at various disciplines and practices to find patterns in their approach to longevity. There were some universal principles:

#1 Have an external dialog; Assess your progression
Nobody can successfully rely on internal dialog all of the time. Get to know your thoughts, write them down. Acknowledge your successes and failures overtly and often. This practice will remove mental clutter, make you more mindful of solutions to your problems, and keep you focused.

#2 Have small, incremental milestones
Big ambitious goals are essential. Breaking down your big goals into little bits and completing those smaller tasks will create a positive feedback loop and drive your momentum forward.

#3 Routines aren’t good, they’re great!
You are bound to have bad days. There will always be factors that will disrupt your rhythm. Having a daily ritual is the quickest way to reboot and get back to where you were headed.

#4 Keep it simple
This is easier said than done. Strive to make progress at it.

I took those principles and applied them to my own health and fitness routine. This has led me to create a lifestyle that works for me, it may be beneficial to you as well. To prove its efficacy, I ate my way to 300 lbs., lost 100 lbs., gained it back and lost 100 lbs. again to make sure it worked. It worked and it will work for you to.
